For those of you not already acquainted, Target is an IT distributor like no other. No, really. Why? Because Target is employee-owned, meaning everything, EVERYTHING, we do is designed to help our customers be more successful. Because “we’re successful if our customers are successful.”

 

As a result, making sure we have the right products at very competitive prices is only half the story; over the last 25+ years, we have also launched a host of services and features designed to help our customers sell more. From free business advice to marketing materials, free product feeds and a truly unique PC configurator that can be displayed on your own website, we believe we’ve done more than any other distributor to support the channel, be it through retailers, network installers or business suppliers.

Many TechMAX attendees will know Target already, and there are a good few who have been customers for a large proportion of our time in distribution. The fact that they still buy from us is testament to the relationships we build, and they’ve probably had some experience of some of the services we offer, like the In-Store PC Builder. Maybe our Flexible Product Feeds that allow you to populate your website with 2000+ products without having to stock a single one of them?

 

We have the same attitude towards the relationships we have with manufacturers too, many of whom, like Kingston and Gigabyte, we’ve been distributing for 10 years or more. We‘re bringing on new names all the time too, soi keep an eye out for some new faces and brands this year!

But, as we’re told over and over again, it is the people at Target that set us apart from everyone else. If you call us, you’ll always get to speak to someone. If you email, you’ll always get a message back. If you’ve got a problem, we’ll always try to fix it. The relationships we build with our customers are important and we want to make it as easy and personal to deal with us as possible. In a World of automation, AI and online sales, it’s nice to speak to someone directly sometimes – plus, the more we can understand about your business and goals, the more we can try to help you achieve them.

 

We’ve worked closely with Tech For Techs and been part of the TechMAX community ever since they were introduced – the community spirit, the desire to share ideas and experiences and the enthusiasm in ‘doing a good job’ echoes our own culture, as well as that of the brands we support, which is why we’re bringing some of them with us. We’ll be bringing a range of brands and vendors keen to show off their latest products and speak to the people who will be stocking them.
