TechMAX26 is more than just a day of exhibitors, products and networking. This year, visitors will also be able to attend a full line up of talks, presentations and live Q&A sessions designed to help independent computer shops, MSPs, repair businesses, resellers and tech professionals get more from the event.
Taking place on Friday 3rd July 2026 at Magna Science Adventure Centre, the talks will be held in The Conference Room throughout the day. Each session has been chosen to give visitors useful information, fresh ideas and real business value.
At 11:00 am, Sophie Williams from Newline will host New Revenue with Newline. This session will look at how Newline can help resellers grow their business by opening up new opportunities around collaboration and display solutions. It will cover customer demand, market opportunities and how resellers can use Newline technology and channel support to win more deals.
At 12:00 pm (noon), Ben Daniels from Foxway and SMART will present The Rise of Autopilot: Risks for Refurbishers and End Users. This session will look at how Autopilot, cloud management and software based locks are changing the refurbishment industry. It will also highlight some of the hidden risks businesses may face if they are not aware of how these systems work.
At 1:00 pm, DCI Steve Leach from the North East Cyber Resilience Centre will host Work with Policing: Free Support for Tech Businesses Across the Supply Chain. This police led session will explain the free support available to tech businesses of all sizes, including suppliers, retailers, resellers, repair businesses and MSPs. It will also cover how working with policing can help protect your company, your customers and the wider tech supply chain.
At 2:00 pm, Phil Grace from VIP Computers will present Game Over? Press Start on Workstations. With gaming margins under pressure, this session will show how high performance workstations can open up bigger ticket sales. The talk will strip away the jargon and explain how workstation builds compare with the gaming hardware many tech businesses already know.
At 3:00 pm, the popular Power Of The Distributors panel returns. Hosted by Philip Griffiths from Tech For Techs and TechMAX, this live Q&A gives visitors the chance to ask distributors the questions that matter to their business. Topics often include stock, margins, returns, support, pricing, the future of distribution and what resellers really need from their suppliers.
Confirmed representatives include Hitz Solanki from Origin, Ryan Tyler from Mentor Distribution, Callum Ward from VIP Computers, Michael Botto from Westcoast and Neil Jensen from Terra Computers Ltd and I3I Distribution Ltd.

At 4:00 pm, visitors can take part in the Competitions and Q&A session. A number of prizes
will be given away, with no purchase needed to enter. You just need to be in the room at the time of the draw.
Whether you are looking for new revenue, better security awareness, industry insight or the chance to ask direct questions to distributors, the TechMAX26 talks are a key part of the day.
TechMAX26 is free to attend during the daytime, but visitors must book their place in advance.
